He is the Deputy Vice Chancellor in charge of Academic Affairs at Uganda Christian University (UCU). He is a former lecturer in the department of Mathematics at Makerere University. Prof. Kitayimbwa was the Makerere University Retirement Benefits Scheme (MURBS) representative for the academic staff association, i.e. Makerere University Academic Staff Association (MUASA), on the Board of Trustees while at Makerere University. He is also a computational biologist by trade.

She is the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Finance and Administration, as well as the University Secretary at Kampala International University (KIU). She is a Professor of Education, and a Senior Lecturer at KIU. She is a former Head of Department at Makerere University Department of Adult and Community Education. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Adult and Community Education from Makerere University, and a Masters and PhD in Education (majoring in Adult and Community Education) both from the University of KwaZulu Natal in South Africa.
She has published articles in various journals such as the journal of Infection and Public Health, and the journal of Asian and African Studies. Dr. Busingye has been in the education sector since 2001 starting from Makerere University and later joining Kampala International University (KIU) where she has been since 2015.

Dr. Olive Sabiiti is the current Deputy Vice Chancellor, Academic Affairs at Cavendish University. She has also been a Commonwealth Scholar of Law, and Advocate of Law for 15 years. She has a Bachelor of Laws Degree (LLB) with Honours from Makerere University, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from Law Development Centre, Uganda, Master of Laws and PhD in International Business Law from the University of Manchester, UK.
Prior to joining Cavendish University Uganda, Dr. Sabiiti taught Law and Finance in Emerging Markets, Land Transactions, Business and Commercial Laws at the University of Manchester, Makerere University, Uganda Christian University, Mukono, and Uganda Management Institute (UMI).
For close to a decade, she has served as the Speaker for Mpigi District Council, Chairperson, Association of District Council Speakers in the country, and Chairperson, Conflict Resolution Committee of the Uganda Local Governments Association (ULGA). Dr. Olive Sabiiti is also a member of the Uganda Law Society, East Africa Law Society, and the Society for Institutional and Organisational Economics. She represents Cavendish University Uganda at the International Association of Law Schools as well.

Prof. Moses Muhwezi is the Deputy Principal, Makerere University Business School (MUBS).
Previously, he worked as Dean, Faculty of Entrepreneurship and Business Administration at MUBS.
He holds a PhD in Public Procurement from the University of Twente, The Netherlands; a Master of Philosophy in Public Procurement, Maastricht School of Management, the Netherlands; an MBA in Accounting and Finance, Makerere University; a degree in BCOM (Accounting), Makerere University, among other qualifications.
He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (MCIPS), the Institute of Public Procurement Professionals in Uganda (IPPU), the Dutch Procurement Association, the Industrial Marketing and Purchasing Group (IMP), the Technical Committee of Procurement Experts COMESA States and a former Vice Chairperson, Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply, Uganda Chapter.

Dr. Mulira is the Director of Research, National Council for Higher Education (NCHE), and a Senior Consultant, Knowledge Consulting Ltd. (KCL), Uganda. She is a Systems Analyst with extensive, ICT4D and telecom regulation experience. Previously, she was the Research Director IDRC, East and Central Africa Education ICT Incubators in Nairobi, Kenya.
In academia, she was Director/Lecturer Institute of Computer Science, and later Director, Directorate for ICT Support (DICTS), Makerere University, in charge of the automation project to establish the ICT network infrastructure and first Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system of Makerere up to 2012. She has received awards for research in ICT4D notably "Developing the Information Infrastructure-Agenda for Uganda Project (DIIAUP)" commissioned by the World Bank (InfoDev). The Agenda provided ICT sector e-strategies for Uganda's first National ICT policy framework.
She holds a PhD. Service Systems, Delft University of Technology (TUDelft), the Netherlands, MSc. and PGD, Management Information Systems (ADMIS), London School of Economics (LSE), University of London, Executive training from the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University, and Judge Institute of Management Studies, School of Engineering and Technology, University of Cambridge.

Mr Andrew Otim, is the Head of Strategy and Business Planning at the Uganda Communications Commission (UCC).
Mr. Otim has a wealth of experience in strategy development and management, research, policy development and analysis, business process improvement and Monitoring and Evaluation. Mr. Otim has been instrumental in providing technical expertise in the development and implementation of various transformational strategies and policies for the communications sector in Uganda, including the ICT sector Strategy and Investment Plan, National ICT Innovation Support Program, UCC’s Corporate Strategy, National Development Plan (NDP III)-Digital Transformation Program among others. He has also represented Uganda in the development of various ICT development strategies at the Universal Postal Union (UPU), African Telecommunications Union (ATU) and International Telecommunications Union (ITU). Mr Otim, holds a Msc. Development Economics (Nkozi), Bsc. Statistics and Economics (Makerere University) as well as various professional certifications in Strategy Development and Monitoring and Evaluation.

Dr. Martin Patrick Ongol was appointed Deputy Executive Secretary of UNCST with effect from March 2020. Dr. Ongol holds a PhD in Applied Bioscience from Hokkaido University, Japan and has over 23 years of professional experience. His areas of expertise include: strategic planning, organizational development, policy analysis, food security, nutrition, food systems, research management, applied microbiology, molecular biology, agricultural development, agricultural market systems development, impact evaluation, and program management.
Previously he was an Advisor with the UK Department for International Development (DFID) leading a £43 million Program, aiming at transforming agriculture in Rwanda through commercialization, research and Innovation. Before joining DFID, Dr Ongol served as the Director of Research, Innovation and Postgraduate Studies, University of Rwanda - College of Agriculture, Animal Sciences (UR-CAVM). As Director of Research, he led in strategic re-orientation and strengthening of UR-CAVM’s research and Innovation agenda which resulted into enhanced research impact, greater funding, extensive collaborations and strengthened capacity building initiatives. From 2015 to 2018, he was the Vice President, East African Research and Innovation Managers Association (EARIMA). At a continental level he was a resource person for Rwanda in drafting of Science Agenda for Agriculture in Africa (S3A). His contributions led to Rwanda becoming one of the first countries in Africa selected for implementation of the S3A by Forum for Agriculture Research in Africa (FARA).
He has won several internationally competitive research grants from The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS), International Foundation of Science (IFS), International Food Policy Research Institute, Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA), EU-ACP secretariat, International Centre for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT), and HarvestPlus. He is the Principal Education Officer at the Ministry of Education and Sports (MoES) and has teaching experience of over 20 years. He holds a Masters of Arts in Education Management of Makerere University and a Masters of Science in Education for Sustainability from London South Bank University. He is passionate about teacher development towards changing classrooms to include community service and project-based teaching combining this with the use of the available technologies.

He is the Director of Quality Assurance at Makerere University. He is a Population and Social Scientist with more than 14 years of experience in teaching, research and consultancy. He holds a Doctorate in Childhood Studies from Queen’s University Belfast, a Masters of Arts in Population and Development, and a Bachelor of Arts with majors in Sociology.
He has done a number of consultancies where he is the Team leader and has published 13 papers in a peer reviewed journals since 2016. He teaches Elements of Sociology and Anthropology, Rural and Urban Development and Research Methods to both undergraduate and graduate students.

He is the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Finance and Administration at Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST). He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from Makerere University, a Master of Business Administration, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration from the University of Birmingham, UK, and, a PhD in Sustainability Accountability and Reporting from Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST).
He has been in university administration since 1994 starting with Makerere University. Dr. Tushabomwe is a known researcher both locally and internationally who specializes in sustainability accounting. He is a professional accountant and holds ACCA, CPA (U) and ACIS certifications. He is also the public universities’ representative on the council of Bishop Stuart University (BSU).
Mr. Nicholas Mbonimpa

Mr. Nicholas Mbonimpa is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Research and Education Network for Uganda (RENU).
He has over 10 years of experience in data network planning and design. He previously worked as the Chief Technical Officer (CTO) for RENU, from 2014 to 2018. Before that, he worked as a Data Network Planning Engineer for MTN Uganda, and as a Satellite Systems Engineer for iWayAfrica (U) Limited.
