We are thrilled to announce that Brian Masiga was appointed the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of RENUMESH Technologies Limited.
RENU’s longest serving employee, Brian first joined RENU in 2012 as an Administrative and Technical Assistant, and later rose to the level of Network Engineer. He then served as the Head of the Network Operations team from 2019 to 2023, during which period he oversaw the growth of the network from about 100 connected campuses at the start of 2019 to over 600 connected campuses in 2023.
Established to manufacture solar-powered Internet routers in Uganda, RENUMESH Technologies Limited is the joint venture between RENU and Mesh++. Plugging into Uganda’s industrialization drive, among other benefits, the joint venture is one of RENU’s initiatives that seek to provide a bridge between academia and industry, particularly in the fields of engineering and computer science.
