We are pleased to share with you the current version of the programme for UbuntuNet-Connect 2009. During the main conference, the Minister of Information and Communications Technology, Hon. Aggrey Awori has agreed to be our Guest of Honour.

NRENs also still have an opportunity to participate by sending in experiences that would qualify them to present for one of the following:

• Five Minutes of Fame: Three NRENs that enlist in advance will share novel or creative approaches to network deployment and operations
• Six minutes of Fame: Five NRENS that would have enlisted earlier will share their specific experience in overcoming policy and regulatory challenges, and securing government support
