Final Programme and Welcome

Colleagues,

Please find attached the final programme for the Kampala meetings, bar one or two items for which an update will be sent. All events are at Hotel Africana. As pointed out earlier, this is a modest but reasonable hotel: there are many up-market hotels within 10 – 20 minutes walking distance if any one prefers a more up-market hotel at a more up-market price.

Draft Workshop Programme

We are pleased to share with you the current version of the programme for UbuntuNet-Connect 2009. During the main conference, the Minister of Information and Communications Technology, Hon. Aggrey Awori has agreed to be our Guest of Honour.

IXP Routing Workshop

As part of UbuntuNet-Connect 2009 that will be hosted by RENU and the UbuntuNet Alliance, the Internet Society and Association of African Universities are jointly supporting a technical workshop on IXP Routing. The workshop is designed for Engineers who are responsible for the Network Routing and Interconnection at the NRENs as well as individual Universities.
